Peter Yeates has been inspecting houses for over 28 years.
More than 14 of those years were spent with Carson, Dunlop and Associates (the largest home inspection firm in Toronto).

Peter is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Civil Engineering) and is also a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Peter has performed more than 11,000 inspections on all kinds of houses ranging from new to 150 years old.

Inspections meet or exceed the standards of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and a comprehensive written report is provided right after the inspection. Areas of inspection include; the roof and chimneys, building exterior, structure (including termites), electrical, heating, central air conditioning, insulation, plumbing and interior. The typical length of an inspection is 2-1/2 to 3 hours.

The written report is provided on site, at the end of the inspection.  The report format is a 400+ page illustrated "Home Reference Book" with forms that outline improvement recommendations specific to your home.

We strongly encourage prospective purchasers to come along for the inspection - our clients find that the inspection process is very informative.

We inspect houses throughout the GTA
(Mississauga to Scarborough and from downtown Toronto north to Markham).

The inspection fee for the majority of houses is $400 (plus HST).
Call for fees on multi-family or large homes.
